The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Napier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruesga Melo was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14th minute Hugo Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruesga Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Rene Ibar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín and the River LOA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, one of 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, River LOA's Gilesindo Schmidt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Clemente Nahia. Júnior Fernández kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro-Gabriel Martínez in the 28th minute of play forced River LOA's goalkeeper Ruesga Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Lautaro-Gabriel Martínez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruesga Melo. River LOA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro-Gabriel Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 31st match minute, 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Abad to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Maximiliano Napier made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. River LOA's Ruesga Melo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruesga Melo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Maximiliano Napier. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Napier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júnior Fernández to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Maximiliano Napier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruesga Melo. That made the score 1-4 after 51 minutes of play. 58 minutes into the match, 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Dibarrart came free, but Clemente Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Bonifaco's late challenge caught a River LOA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Bonifaco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Omar Furman hit a great ball. Maximiliano Napier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Ruesga Melo 67 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín booed when River LOA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Salinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maximiliano Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Napier got free with Ruesga Melo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Napier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ruesga Melo made a huge save. If Darío Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
