Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Faruk Ceyhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Edgar Coposu made a huge save. Savaş Baykal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Codin in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Maxim Dragalina got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Faruk Ceyhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gold Raiders FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faruk Ceyhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Coposu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Coposu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baturhan Erozan's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Hakkı Devrim Akkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faruk Ceyhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Edgar Coposu made a huge save. In the 23rd minute of the match Gold Raiders FC got a corner. Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Duman Sadan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gold Raiders FC's Duman Sadan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Coposu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Sandu Negara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gold Raiders FC the free kick. The supporters of Gold Raiders FC booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Negara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristide Pupăzan struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Savaş Baykal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. After 32 played minutes Gold Raiders FC got a freekick which was hit by Güven Birsan. After 33 minutes of play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Ovidiu Borza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Savaş Baykal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorel Codin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Savaş Baykal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Dorel Codin made the kick off in the second half. Hakkı Devrim Akkan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Devrim Akkan came free, but Edgar Coposu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Ceyhan in the 60th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Edgar Coposu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Borza struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Savaş Baykal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. In the 65th minute, Duman Sadan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Savaş Baykal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Coposu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Ceyhan in the 72nd minute of play. Savaş Baykal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Borza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stiinta-Univ.'s Edgar Coposu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturhan Erozan in the 79th minute of play. If Ovidiu Borza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Borza struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Savaş Baykal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. Savaş Baykal made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ovidiu Borza sent off a good shot on target. Faruk Ceyhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gold Raiders FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stiinta-Univ.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Stiinta-Univ..
