Protegéerna's Georg Vallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Cristos in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute C.F.Fuenlabrada were awarded a corner. Lorenzo Mamani went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Bennet in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roy Bennet scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Skark came free, but Nunez Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Roy Bennet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Adrian Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Georg Vallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Sven Skark. Nunez Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Protegéerna were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aristides Azeari made the kick off in the second half. Venancio Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Venancio Abancens quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alexander Lundström, made in the 55th minute of the game. The supporters of C.F.Fuenlabrada booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Bennet in the 66th minute of play forced C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Nunez Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Felipo's late challenge caught a Protegéerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Protegéerna's Charlie Apelquist was substituted for Alexander Lundström. In the 76th minute Aristides Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
