Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Perez in the 4th minute of play forced Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Bernardinho Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Militar MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Perez came free, but Bernardinho Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bernardinho Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Academia Militar MZ's Maicon de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RWD Molenbeek's Almir Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Lima in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Gualter Nóbrega made a precise shot to the right of Almir Diniz. RWD Molenbeek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of RWD Molenbeek booed when Academia Militar MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Academia Militar MZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gualter Nóbrega hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Maicon de Almeida took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Almir Diniz to make any attempt to save it. Gualter Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Almir Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualter Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almir Diniz having to make a save. After a rather tough play, RWD Molenbeek's Luiz Sampaio got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in RWD Molenbeek's zone, Gualter Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Diniz came out of the goal and Gualter Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon de Almeida came free, but Almir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maicon de Almeida to make the kick off. Francisco Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Bernardinho Freire made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon de Almeida came free, but Almir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Academia Militar MZ's Bernardinho Freire got control of the ball when Francisco Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Almir Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Academia Militar MZ were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after RWD Molenbeek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gino Neto took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luiz Gustavo da Silveira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Academia Militar MZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
