With 3 minutes on the clock, Fabinho Simão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 7 minutes into the game, Orxata I Fartons's Tonete Quintanilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almir Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 11th match minute, RWD Molenbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Enrique Carreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orxata I Fartons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Carreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonete Quintanilla in the 14th minute of play forced RWD Molenbeek's goalkeeper Almir Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonete Quintanilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Orxata I Fartons's Kepa Jazom got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betinho Damião got free with Anaia Litago in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the RWD Molenbeek defense, Bingen Palomares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almir Diniz. The RWD Molenbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almir Diniz should have stopped the shot. After 35 minutes of play, Orxata I Fartons's Tonete Quintanilla made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Jaen in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almir Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betinho Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anaia Litago having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Perez made a kick off. RWD Molenbeek's Almir Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save RWD Molenbeek from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Izar Candamil came free, but Almir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Orxata I Fartons got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Hevia. After 65 played minutes, RWD Molenbeek's Vânderson Santana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anaia Litago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RWD Molenbeek reached it. In the 70th minute, Florencio Jaen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Carreira in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almir Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bingen Palomares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Orxata I Fartons's Tonete Quintanilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Diniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Ronaldo Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RWD Molenbeek and the Orxata I Fartons players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronaldo Novaes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Izar Candamil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Almir Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Almir Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Carreira in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Orxata I Fartons's Minabo Tiesse got a free kick in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goalkeeper Almir Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bingen Palomares. Almir Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izar Candamil in the 94th minute of play. Orxata I Fartons played a much better game than RWD Molenbeek and deserved their victory. The RWD Molenbeek players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
