George Agachi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 14 minutes into the game, Jonathan Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. George Agachi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the game, Vali Ghețea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galati Harbour Cats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrossel Caipira the free kick. The supporters of Carrossel Caipira booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Ghețea didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Agachi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Hermes in the 17th minute. Vali Ghețea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Bag in the 28th minute of play forced Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Dinei Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Hurmuzescu came free, but Dinei Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Şoltuz in the 35th minute of play. George Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Veiga in the 36th minute of play. George Agachi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Vítor Mendonça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 40 minute of play. After 47 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Jo Bag.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulão Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Dinei Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Queiroz in the 69th minute of play. Paulão Veiga took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Agachi. George Agachi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. George Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Veiga in the 74th minute of play. George Agachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Dinei Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petruț Vlăsiu in the 79th minute. Vali Ghețea scored 5-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinei Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Carrossel Caipira's Paulão Veiga in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
