After 5 minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernard Rojewski who took care of the corner kick. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Bernard Rojewski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teodosio Cerda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Slawomir Pankiewicz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the CWKS KĘDZIERZYN defense, Raimundo Backhouse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnaba Panikowski. The CWKS KĘDZIERZYN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barnaba Panikowski should have stopped the shot. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Clemencín Varas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the game, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's José Antonio Porras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnaba Panikowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 18 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Gerónimo Alonso. Teodosio Cerda made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Walery Glogowski sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Walery Glogowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodosio Cerda, 2-3. After a rather tough play, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Korneliusz Kosiorek got a free kick in the 30th minute. Raimundo Backhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Barnaba Panikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Raimundo Backhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Panikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CWKS KĘDZIERZYN defense, Clemente Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnaba Panikowski. The CWKS KĘDZIERZYN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barnaba Panikowski should have stopped the shot. The CWKS KĘDZIERZYN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportes Santa Cruz were winning 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walery Glogowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Skonieczny to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Clemencín Varas made a precise shot to the right of Barnaba Panikowski. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. A collision led to CWKS KĘDZIERZYN getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Korneliusz Kosiorek hit a great ball. The long shot by Raimundo Backhouse in the 58th minute really tested Barnaba Panikowski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Jeziorkowski during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Backhouse tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Barnaba Panikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemencín Varas in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to CWKS KĘDZIERZYN getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Stanislaw Mios hit a great ball. José Antonio Porras hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Barnaba Panikowski came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Clemencín Varas. But to his dismay, Clemencín Varas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. In the 83rd match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Barros to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Cerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Glogowski in the 87th minute of play. Walery Glogowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Cerda having to interfere. Club Deportes Santa Cruz played a much better game than CWKS KĘDZIERZYN and deserved their victory. The CWKS KĘDZIERZYN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
