Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Charalambos Zardari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vc Brye's supporters rose to their feet, but Charalambos Zardari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute Roberto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geordy De Leger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes Vc Brye's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomás Massa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gláuber Nascimento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geordy De Leger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Mendonça in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geordy De Leger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charalambos Zardari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Roberto Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geordy De Leger was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Aírton Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The tension between the Vc Brye and the Brazil Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vc Brye's Bernd Van der Sande got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Vc Brye defense, Roberto Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geordy De Leger. The Vc Brye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geordy De Leger should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octaaf Van Adorp during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the match, Roberto Mendonça notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vc Brye's Geordy De Leger. Geordy De Leger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geordy De Leger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes of play Vc Brye's Bernd Van der Sande was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cederique Wigers made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Roberto Mendonça from a close distance when the talented Geordy De Leger managed to make a qualified save. Vc Brye's players were relieved. 57 minutes into the game, Brazil Academy's Róbson Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geordy De Leger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Adolf Dhondt hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vc Brye's zone, Róbson Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geordy De Leger came out of the goal and Róbson Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Geordy De Leger managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Brazil Academy's Róbson Simão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gláuber Nascimento hit a great ball. Geordy De Leger stood somewhat misplaced when Roberto Mendonça came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 73 minute. After 79 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Koehler. 80 minutes into the game, Vc Brye's Charalambos Zardari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Geordy De Leger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Simão in the 86th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Roberto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vc Brye's Geordy De Leger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geordy De Leger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Mendonça went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Vc Brye's Geordy De Leger got control of the ball when Roberto Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brazil Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
