After 2 played minutes Hungarian Olympic got a freekick which was hit by György Király. After recieving a nice pass, Neuros och Psykos's Jens-Åke Wahlström tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Hungarian Olympic's László Nemes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Lenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Börje Lindholm charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Lindholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Neuros och Psykos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Lenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neuros och Psykos's Gilbert Lenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Müller in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, László Müller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungarian Olympic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. László Nemes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Gustavsson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Neuros och Psykos's goal looked a bit too open when György Kun came free, but Gilbert Lenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Lenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pál Medgyesi kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Börje Lindholm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Ábel Barta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Sándor Buday got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Neuros och Psykos's goal looked a bit too open when György Kun came free, but Gilbert Lenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sándor Czakó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Hungarian Olympic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by György Király to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Börje Lindholm made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by György Király during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When György Kun fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungarian Olympic's protests and gave György Kun a yellow card for diving instead. György Kun hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Neuros och Psykos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hammarberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when György Király got free with Gilbert Lenberg in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, György Kun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilbert Lenberg. György Kun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 70 minutes into the match, Neuros och Psykos's goal looked a bit too open when György Kun came free, but Gilbert Lenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. György Király could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gilbert Lenberg made a huge save. After some careless play in the Neuros och Psykos defense, László Müller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilbert Lenberg. The Neuros och Psykos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilbert Lenberg should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when László Müller got free with Gilbert Lenberg in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers László Müller in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Lenberg saved Neuros och Psykos from getting behind. After some careless play in the Neuros och Psykos defense, Szabolcs Váczi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilbert Lenberg. The Neuros och Psykos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilbert Lenberg should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Neuros och Psykos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jens-Åke Wahlström hit a great ball. Gilbert Lenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szabolcs Váczi in the 95th minute.
