The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Roberto Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Roberto Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mårten Bremming kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Miguel Monsalve made a precise shot to the right of Kjell-Arne Palmquist. Stockholm IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Roberto Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kjell-Arne Palmquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Stockholm IF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mårten Bremming hit a great ball. Stockholm IF's Kjell-Arne Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Monsalve in the 19th minute of play. When Lobo Guará's Artur Branco in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stockholm IF's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Paulo Renato Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Renato Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Válbson Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Kjell-Arne Palmquist. Stockholm IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Monsalve in the 47th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Stålberg made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Stockholm IF's Folke Alebom got a free kick in the 50th minute. Kjell-Arne Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Miguel Monsalve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell-Arne Palmquist was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Branco in the 79th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell-Arne Palmquist was a little too slow when Miguel Monsalve got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-8. The supporters of Stockholm IF booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Gómez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Stålberg in the 85th minute of the match. Lobo Guará's Artur Branco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Monsalve got free with Kjell-Arne Palmquist in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjell-Arne Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Monsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Branco in the 92nd minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Artur Branco rounded Stockholm IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. When the match was over Lobo Guará could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stockholm IF throughout the match.
