The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Erik Pihlblad during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stockholm IF's Jan-Erik Pihlblad got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Caetano Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Stålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Karl Dahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Alebom got free with Caetano Monteiro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Alebom in the 34th minute of the match. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Alebom in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Andreas Stålberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Caetano Monteiro, 1-0. After 41 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Matías Ceresso. 42 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Stålberg came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After a rather tough play, Stockholm IF's Karl Dahlquist got a free kick in the 51st minute. The Stockholm IF fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Stockholm IF's Andreas Stålberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kjell-Arne Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Egídio Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Stockholm IF's Kjell-Arne Palmquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm IF from getting a goal against them. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Stockholm IF's Karl Dahlquist. But to his dismay, Karl Dahlquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 85 played minutes Stockholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Bremming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Lucas got free with Kjell-Arne Palmquist in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
