De Kasteelheren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Stefano Zijden hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Bernard Mülder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Botello in the 5th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Dionisio Monico couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for De Kasteelheren. Basilio Justin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sjef Klein went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Basilio Justin came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Christiaan Wilson. But to his dismay, Christiaan Wilson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Javier Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bernard Mülder made a huge save. Bernardo Ranolfo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bernard Mülder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Javier Botello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Mülder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Javier Botello struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bernard Mülder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. In the 37th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickael Perk to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Bernardo Ranolfo got a free kick in the 41st minute. Christiaan Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Justin having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Botello to make the kick off. If Bernardo Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Kasteelheren's Yuri Iepstra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Agustin Pacho, made in the 54th minute of the game. Christiaan Wilson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Sjef Klein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atlético Atlanta made a substitution. Leonardo Paulin replaced Joaquin Fonso. In the 72nd minute, Sjef Klein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Aurelio Kiliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefano Zijden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Christiaan Wilson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bernardo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Mülder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hub Groten kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Mickael Perk got a free kick in the 91st minute. De Kasteelheren's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
