But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hacıxälil Hacıahmetoğlu couldn't finish the play. Hacıxälil Hacıahmetoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kvist having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Jarl Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Raimundo Botello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xalvador Xanthakos in the 30th minute. When Torgny Sjögren fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glentown FC's protests and gave Torgny Sjögren a yellow card for diving instead. Glentown FC's Tommy Kvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Glentown FC from getting a goal against them. Howling Dawn U18 were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Glentown FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugenio Nataniel took the corner. The corner led Howling Dawn U18's Eugenio Nataniel to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xalvador Xanthakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henric Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Hacıxälil Hacıahmetoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Sjögren scored 1-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Botello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glentown FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
