Horacio Ibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Vides in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Mar in the 8th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Horacio Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Dubardo in the 10th minute of play. Marzagão's Neil Mar got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes C.A Vientos Huracanados got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Beti. In the 16th play minute Fabiano de Queiroz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horacio Ibar. 1-0. Ruben Dubardo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, C.A Vientos Huracanados's Ruben Dubardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the last second Horacio Ibar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alberto Prado in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 37th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Mar to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Fabiano de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 minutes, Ricardo Beti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A Vientos Huracanados and the Marzagão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Fabiano de Queiroz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Ibar, 3-2. Horacio Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Mar in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Marzagão's Remo Borges was substituted for Leonardo Vides. After having played for 53 minutes, Fabiano de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzagão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Fabiano de Queiroz sped through C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horacio Ibar. In the 68th match minute, C.A Vientos Huracanados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Beti to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Neil Mar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. If Ruben Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Saraiva charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A Vientos Huracanados booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ibar having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, C.A Vientos Huracanados's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Mar came free, but Horacio Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ibar having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marzagão had won after a very even match.
