Billy Hydén made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Angelo Nazario sent off a good shot on target. If Tor Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Boris Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlsborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Söderberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Karlstedt in the 18th minute of play. Wiktor Karlstedt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Pasqual charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Pasqual the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Karlsborg's protests and gave Tomas Näfver a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Karlstedt in the 89th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Arturo Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anton Sjögren fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlsborg's protests and gave Anton Sjögren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Anton Sjögren hit a great ball. Angelo Sugar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Hydén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Billy Hydén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Sugar in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match Rivermania FC got a corner. Karlsborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelo Nazario ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rivermania FC's corner Angelo Nazario fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Billy Hydén quite easily take care of the ball. Karlsborg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
