The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Txilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barreal FC's Arnulfo Txilar got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barreal FC's Amador Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Barreal FC from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Barreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Mattin. If Ladislao Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Pio to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Asserlindh to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Quetzal Flyers Hammers getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gösta Berglund hit a great ball. Oskar Vestberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torbjörn Östlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Amador Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torbjörn Östlund struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Amador Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quetzal Flyers Hammers. When Torbjörn Östlund came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Östlund couldn't finish the play. Torbjörn Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Frichoso having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Bordat to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes, Pedro Orlondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreal FC and the Quetzal Flyers Hammers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barreal FC's Pedro Orlondo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Åke Asserlindh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
