Dinei Goiano started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Concetto Vianello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Concetto Vianello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Hamílton Campidelis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carter Di Nino to make any attempt to save it. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Barone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Costantino hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Vianello to maneuver through the defense. Dinei Goiano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Carlucci in the 17th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Barone in the 20th minute of play. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Vianello in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Armando Barone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Wambalamba FC's Dinei Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Armando Barone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Naldo Mello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.S.C. NAPOLI reached it. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Hamílton Campidelis got a free kick in the 38th minute. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Felicetti in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Armando Barone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Emilio Felicetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Barone to make the kick off. With a little luck, Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello got control of the ball when Armando Barone tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Barone got free with Naldo Mello in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Barone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Mello stood somewhat misplaced when Armando Barone came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 73 minute. When Emilio Felicetti came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the S.S.C. NAPOLI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Felicetti couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Volponi during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to S.S.C. NAPOLI getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fedele Volponi hit a great ball. Hamílton Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Di Nino having to interfere. Frank Carlucci charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Carlucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank Carlucci kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Armando Barones short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Naldo Mello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute, Emilio Felicetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded S.S.C. NAPOLI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wambalamba FC.
