Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabrio Dozal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gabrio Dozal struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Naldo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GreenUnited. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Couto during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Hamílton Campidelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eli Villalobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hamílton Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Txeru Montaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Txeru Montaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Goiano in the 35th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Eli Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Gabrio Dozal. Naldo Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabrio Dozal in the 41st minute. Txeru Montañas short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Naldo Mello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Dinei Goiano made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Dinei Goiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eli Villalobos, 0-2. After 63 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Solarriba. Berasko Gordo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Naldo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when GreenUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berasko Gordo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eli Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Goiano in the 75th minute of play. When Guaberto Reigada fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GreenUnited's protests and gave Guaberto Reigada a yellow card for diving instead. GreenUnited's Eli Villalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save GreenUnited from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the GreenUnited defense, Adhemar da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eli Villalobos. The GreenUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eli Villalobos should have stopped the shot. Wambalamba FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
