Aníbal Mandrak hit a great ball. Ezequiel Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Volponi during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fedele Volponi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Tande in the 21st minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Carter Di Nino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Barone was the one to do the kick off. Ezequiel Queirós's late challenge caught a S.S.C. NAPOLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Marius Macoveis short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Carter Di Nino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute Emilio Felicetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Carter Di Nino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Tande. Marius Macovei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Carter Di Nino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Barone couldn't finish the play. A collision led to S.S.C.
