Wambalamba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Barone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Barone to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes S.S.C. NAPOLI got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Tullio. Carter Di Nino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinei Goiano's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Domenico Evangelista's late challenge caught a Wambalamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. Kauan Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Kauan Soares got a free kick in the 18th minute. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Vianello in the 19th minute of play. Carter Di Nino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Goiano in the 23rd minute of the match. Carter Di Nino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Teodoro Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C. NAPOLI the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Armando Barone sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello didn't even have to move. 36 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Goiano came free, but Carter Di Nino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when S.S.C. NAPOLI's Concetto Vianello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Naldo Mello came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by S.S.C. NAPOLI's Armando Barone. But to his dismay, Armando Barone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Armando Barone made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Teodoro Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Dinei Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Carter Di Nino. S.S.C. NAPOLI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 68th play minutes Dinei Goiano shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Carter Di Nino and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 72nd minute, Frank Carlucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Barone in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Armando Barone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naldo Mello skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Cerezo during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Carlucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Carlucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Couto. 86 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Barone came free, but Naldo Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Concetto Vianello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Naldo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauan Soares got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Soares. Leonel Couto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Wambalamba FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.S.C. NAPOLI:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for S.S.C. NAPOLI. Armando Barone stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Naldo Mello. 5-2. S.S.C. NAPOLI were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wambalamba FC for a fine match.
