Florencio Rivero hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With 9 minutes on the clock, Gabriel Mercado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of AC Raczyny booed when Descamisados CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Mercado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Blochowiak in the 42nd minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Gavino Isauro made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Starogardzki. AC Raczyny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Alfred Starogardzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Raczyny's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
