After some careless play in the Relyn Futebol Clube defense, Gai Alavedra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Vieira. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Vieira should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Llorienzo Lama hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Elder Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Segura. Tirant lo Blanch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eriberto Segura was a little too slow when Luís Paulo de Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 27 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Oihan Cazorla. 30 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Oihan Cazorla came free, but Juan Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelayo Valdivia in the 31st minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elder Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivón Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Juan Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelayo Valdivia in the 42nd minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelayo Valdivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Vieira having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivón Barroso to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Segura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Barros in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Mangueira during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Mangueira. Ivón Barroso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Vieira. Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Tirant lo Blanch's Pelayo Valdivia made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llorienzo Lama didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Munhoz in the 78th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Eriberto Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Relyn Futebol Clube's Elder Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Ramiréz's late challenge caught a Relyn Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Ramiréz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Teodoro Ramiréz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Relyn Futebol Clube were the better team. Relyn Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
