The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Tømmervik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Legia Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noah Mathiassen to maneuver through the defense. Ivón Barroso walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 12 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Markus Tømmervik. Stein Naas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivón Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Hamborg during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Martin Hamborg got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes, Tirant lo Blanch's Barto Arratia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stein Naas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tirant lo Blanch reached it. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Barto Arratia hit a great ball. Markus Tømmervik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Eriberto Segura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Tømmervik got free with Eriberto Segura in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thorbjørn Stølen was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 26 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Thorbjørn Stølen. After 31 minutes of play, Tirant lo Blanch's Ivón Barroso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stein Naas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Håvard Opdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivón Barroso to strike the kick off in the second half. When Noah Mathiassen fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Stavanger's protests and gave Noah Mathiassen a yellow card for diving instead. Noah Mathiassen kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, José Revuelta took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Stein Naas to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Ivón Barroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stein Naas, 0-3. In the 66th minute, Pelayo Valdivia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirant lo Blanch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gai Alavedra in the 70th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Stein Naas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Segura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Tømmervik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hamborg in the 78th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Eriberto Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Botten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tirant lo Blanch's Eriberto Segura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Hamborg in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, one of Tirant lo Blanch:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Legia Stavanger a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Markus Tømmervik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tirant lo Blanch's Eriberto Segura. 1-4. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barto Arratia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tirant lo Blanch were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Legia Stavanger side.
