In the 8th minute, Ivón Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Gregorczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gai Alavedra to maneuver through the defense. Eugeniusz Turek struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Eriberto Segura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź. Dominik Karanowski's late challenge caught a Tirant lo Blanch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominik Karanowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dominik Karanowski hit a great ball. Kazimierz Miazga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ulryk Mochowak hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Miazga came free, but Eriberto Segura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Miazga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Segura having to interfere. If Pelayo Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Turek made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kazimierz Miazga managed to get in a good position for a shot. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Miazga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Segura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Segura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Miazga, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gai Alavedra kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pelayo Valdivia scored 0-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Skikiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pelayo Valdivia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's Ivón Barroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grzegorz Skikiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
