Kronan's Daniel Allbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Cordarrel in the 3rd minute of play. If Gilbert Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Olof Henriksson made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Botello. Deportivo Pucho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gilbert Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edgardo Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Edgardo Botello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Cesario came free, but Daniel Allbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kronan's Erland Vestberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Pucho. Rogelio Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Löfgren in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Botello saved Deportivo Pucho from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Gilbert Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Löfgren in the 59th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Edgardo Botello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Kronan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomás Checa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Allbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Quinten in the 68th minute. If Olof Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Löfgren in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Tomás Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Allbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 87thth minute of the game Olof Henriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pucho's Edgardo Botello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kronan booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kronan support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
