Codruț Giurăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Codruț Giurăscu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Giurăscu to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Ermengol scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Macamete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Desiderio Ermengol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aurel Răducu fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria Team08's protests and gave Aurel Răducu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Aurel Răducu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Desiderio Ermengol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgardo Botello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Firu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Codruț Giurăscu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Botello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 89 played minutes, Alexandria Team08's Adam Butnaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgardo Botello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alexandria Team08 reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viorel Firu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 96 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pucho's Adrian Juvenal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Macamete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Alexandria Team08 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
