After 29 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Emil Miclescu. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mats Tidéksson hit a great ball. Gilbert Löfgrens short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Corneliu Macamete to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edmund Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kronan's Gilbert Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Ola Abrahamsson. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurel Răducu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmund Fredriksson scored 1-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Macamete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
