Manuel Vulpescu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Manuel Vulpescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute of the match, Rareș Fânaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victor Benat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Club Atlético Timișoara's Albert Bratiloveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Benat in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Salomone. Victor Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Vulpescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Adan Quinton got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rareș Fânaru kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Victor Benat made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Valer Deliman sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Benat was the one to do the kick off. If Claudio Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Valer Deliman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Benat was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After having played for 59 minutes, Rareș Fânaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Timișoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Fânaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Xeneizes defense, Valer Deliman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Benat. The Xeneizes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Benat should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Valer Deliman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Victor Benat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Iustin Buligan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dinu Corlățean fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Timișoara's protests and gave Dinu Corlățean a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Bratiloveanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jairo Palban. 85 minutes into the game, Claudio Peter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xeneizes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Timișoara the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Xeneizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Peter to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 86 minutes, Valer Deliman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Timișoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valer Deliman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Xeneizes booed when Club Atlético Timișoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Deliman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costel Dima hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Costel Dima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Jairo Palban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
