In the 8th match minute, Club Atlético Timișoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Deliman to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Aadolf Martikainen made a precise shot to the right of Albert Bratiloveanu. Club Atlético Timișoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Valer Deliman made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Pihkala. Karhulan Veikot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Deliman in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Pihkala saved Karhulan Veikot from getting behind. Samuel Pihkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Fânaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Deliman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Pihkala saved Karhulan Veikot from getting behind. Daniel Laakkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Iustin Buligan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Pihkala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 33 minutes, Daniel Laakkonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karhulan Veikot and the Club Atlético Timișoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Karhulan Veikot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Laakkonen to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Timișoara's Iustin Buligan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Pihkala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Valer Deliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Pihkala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Samuel Pihkala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Deliman. Valer Deliman in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Pihkala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Samuel Pihkala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valer Deliman in the 62nd minute. Iustin Buligan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Karhulan Veikot's attentive Turo Raninen managed to snatch the ball when Gabriel Răchitan made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Turo Raninen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vintilă Ielciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Deliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Turo Raninen hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Atlético Timișoara booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Karjala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valer Deliman in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Pihkala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Club Atlético Timișoara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karhulan Veikot throughout the match.
