The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Miranda got free with Dante Hartz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Yuri Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Tadzio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Miranda got free with Dante Hartz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when 20 DE SETEMBRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Neiva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Elizardo in the 14th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Kelemen got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hélder de Queiroz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Clóvis Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dante Hartz made a huge save. Blas Mingo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Mingo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dante Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Neves in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Alessandro Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Elizardo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder de Queiroz having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Aaron Elizardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wágner Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Wágner Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 56 minutes into the game, Laurita FC's Aaron Elizardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Pedro Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder de Queiroz having to interfere. Laurita FC's Dante Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Neves in the 69th minute of play. Marco Teles scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Hartz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Kelemen got free with Hélder de Queiroz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in 20 DE SETEMBRO's zone, Aaron Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder de Queiroz came out of the goal and Aaron Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder de Queiroz was a little too slow when Aaron Elizardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Mário Alvarenga put in a rough tackle. 85 minutes into the game, one of 20 DE SETEMBRO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Laurita FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
