Cactos's Lenílson Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenílson Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Harry Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Fors. Plan B's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reinaldo Teles scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Fors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Plan B's Michael Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Valle in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Fors. Plan B's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Fors was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Michael Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Bezerra was a little too slow when Bengt Kielberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 33rd minute, Leonard Haegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Lenílson Rodrigues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Fors skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Plan B defense, Reinaldo Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Fors. The Plan B fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Fors should have stopped the shot. Reinaldo Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Plan B's Bengt Kielberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germano Bezerra. That made the score 2-4 after 42 minutes of play. José Britto's late challenge caught a Plan B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Britto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Britto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Plan B's Bengt-Arne Larsson got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Reinaldo Teles made the kick off in the second half. Germano Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Gunnarsson in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Reinaldo Teles got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Bengt Kielberg fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plan B's protests and gave Bengt Kielberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Bengt Kielberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Cactos's Reinaldo Teles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Fors narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germano Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Jansson in the 59th minute of the match. Michael Fors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Valle in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Plan B got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Bengtsson. Michael Fors was a little too slow when Reinaldo Teles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-5. The supporters of Cactos booed when Plan B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Bezerra having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Plan B's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Passos came free, but Michael Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
