Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lázaro Ayala started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 8 minutes of play, LTA FC's Lázaro Ayala made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the game, Lázaro Ayala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Germano Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Ariel Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Txema to maneuver through the defense. LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Gaudencio Hernandez got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Hernandez. Zeledon Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Fabinho Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cactos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LTA FC the free kick. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fabinho Simões hit a great ball. Ariel Cisco scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Germano Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Negri to maneuver through the defense. Cactos's Germano Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Cisco in the 44th minute of play. Genaro Mederi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho de Toledo made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by José Britto. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Cristian Berdaitz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Valle to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Lázaro Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Cisco in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Cactos's Germano Bezerra got control of the ball when Ariel Cisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Cactos a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lenílson Rodrigues, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio. 1-3. When Zeledon Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LTA FC's protests and gave Zeledon Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Zeledon Orlanda got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho de Toledo in the 83rd minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hipolito Batista sent off a good shot on target. If Hipolito Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LTA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
