The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Höglunda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dick Ek during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Höglunda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Ek to maneuver through the defense. The coaching staff of PomeziaRamblers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Daniele Bencivenni had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th minute, one of PomeziaRamblers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PomeziaRamblers. The goalkeeper, Fabrizio Massa, was totally fooled by Höglunda IK's Jan-Erik Mårtensson, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 41st minute, Ciro Mastrocola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Ahlstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Mastrocola was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Erik Ahlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Mastrocola, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PomeziaRamblers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
