Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The Randers A.F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Randers A.F.C.'s André Duvantier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 12 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goal looked a bit too open when André Duvantier came free, but Karl-Erik Ahlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Kristian Ingels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Ahlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Kaj Rubaun put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Erik Ahlstedt. In the 17th minute, Dick Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Kristian Ingels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernest Carstengren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Erik Ahlstedt. Höglunda IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 23 minutes, Kaj Rubaun made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Höglunda IK's Karl-Erik Ahlstedt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Erik Ahlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Duvantier, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Dick Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dick Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernest Carstengren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Erik Ahlstedt. Höglunda IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Rubaun in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Ahlstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the game, Kaj Rubaun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Karl-Erik Ahlstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, André Duvantier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Rubaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Erik Ahlstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Rubaun's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Tord Sander got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Höglunda IK's Karl-Erik Ahlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Höglunda IK from getting a goal against them. Kaj Rubaun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Karl-Erik Ahlstedt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the last second Karl-Erik Ahlstedt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kristian Ingels in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Randers A.F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kornelius Lynbek hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Freddie Fredriksson got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Duvantier in the 90th minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Ahlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Ahlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Ingels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Randers A.F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Höglunda IK throughout the match.
