Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Halil Winskowsky started the match with the kick off. Niguel Mansell took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johann Scheuerer. Johann Scheuerer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Johann Scheuerer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Colapinto in the 7th minute of play. Johann Scheuerer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mel in the 15th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Timo!'s Humberto Mel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johann Scheuerer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Timo! reached it. After 25 minutes, Radomil Gabler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rot-Weiss-Essen and the Timo! players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Timo! booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Gabler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Humberto Mel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johann Scheuerer skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Niguel Mansell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johann Scheuerer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 33 minutes, Niguel Mansell made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Johann Scheuerer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Johann Scheuerer came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Timo!'s Niguel Mansell. But to his dismay, Niguel Mansell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Franco Colapinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timo!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Colapinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johann Scheuerer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hansjörg Selke got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Humberto Mel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johann Scheuerer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niguel Mansell to make the kick off. Warner Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Timo!'s Roque Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Nölte in the 52nd minute of play. Johann Scheuerer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niguel Mansell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Colapinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Johann Scheuerer made a huge save. In the 64th minute Radomil Gabler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Mel got free with Johann Scheuerer in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halil Winskowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Montes having to interfere. Roque Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil Winskowsky in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Halil Winskowsky got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Timo! defense, Gino Nölte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Montes. The Timo! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Montes should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Halil Winskowsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timo!'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
