Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaj Rubaun started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Luis Nicolin. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaj Rubaun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johann Scheuerer. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Kaj Rubaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johann Scheuerer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Nölte to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Kristian Ingels rounded Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Niels Willendrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Gabler, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper Johann Scheuerer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Rubaun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Ingels in the 38th minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper Johann Scheuerer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Erler kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Kaj Rubauns short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Johann Scheuerer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Halil Winskowsky was the one to do the kick off. Randers A.F.C.'s Niels Willendrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Nölte in the 53rd minute of play. Kristofer Mark hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Luis Nicolin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Randers A.F.C.'s Niels Willendrup didn't even have to move. In the 58th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Erler to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Rot-Weiss-Essen defense, Kaj Rubaun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johann Scheuerer. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johann Scheuerer should have stopped the shot. Kristian Ingels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johann Scheuerer having to interfere. Johann Scheuerer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaj Rubaun went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Johann Scheuerer came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Randers A.F.C.'s Thorleif Dandrup. But to his dismay, Thorleif Dandrup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Kaj Rubaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Nicolin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Johann Scheuerer came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Randers A.F.C.'s Kaj Rubaun. But to his dismay, Kaj Rubaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 85th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Winskowsky to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Schlesinger kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Johann Scheuerer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Rubaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Randers A.F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
