Black Sky FC's Eliseo Ellande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Black Sky FC from getting a goal against them. Tobias Barck did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Eliseo Ellande 17 minutes into the match. Verner Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Sky FC's Pascual Eutor. But to his dismay, Pascual Eutor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Black Sky FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Black Sky FC's Pascual Eutor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 39 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Verner Gustavsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the game, Ludvig Vallander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Höglunda IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Sky FC the free kick. In the 45th minute, Ludvig Vallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Black Sky FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute of the match Saverio Weather shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Verner Gustavsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pascual Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verner Gustavsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascual Eutor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 59 minute of play. Eliseo Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Mårtensson in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Nereo Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Nereo Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verner Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pascual Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Black Sky FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
