After 15 minutes of play, Höglunda IK's Tobias Barck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrizio Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Vallander came free, but Fabrizio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Trivelli got free with Verner Gustavsson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match, Armin Trivelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Verner Gustavsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ciro Mastrocola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabrizio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Gustavsson in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Armin Trivelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. PomeziaRamblers's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Trivelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Verner Gustavsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Jan-Erik Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to PomeziaRamblers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carlo Giordano hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Ludvig Vallander got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd minute Armin Trivelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The PomeziaRamblers fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when PomeziaRamblers's Armin Trivelli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leif Carlsson hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Bencivenni to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PomeziaRamblers's zone, Olof Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Massa came out of the goal and Olof Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Verner Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Trivelli in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Armin Trivelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, PomeziaRamblers's Carlo Giordano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Verner Gustavsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! PomeziaRamblers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
