Kaj Rubaun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Verner Gustavsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaj Rubaun slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. After 22nd play minutes Thorleif Dandrup shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Verner Gustavsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Uno Gustavsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Verner Gustavsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tycho Tapager. Verner Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ingels in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Rubaun. When Randers A.F.C.'s Thorleif Dandrup in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Höglunda IK's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaj Rubaun made a kick off. When Tobias Barck came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Höglunda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Barck couldn't finish the play. Jan-Erik Mårtensson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Jan-Erik Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Höglunda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Erik Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Verner Gustavsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Randers A.F.C.'s Kaj Rubaun shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Thorleif Dandrup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höglunda IK's Verner Gustavsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornelius Lynbek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olof Engström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Höglunda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Kaj Rubaun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Verner Gustavsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
