When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Sokratis Symeonakis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Evelio Gines. Celedonio Leoncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dimitris Stathakos made a huge save. In the 24th minute Acratas Unidos were awarded a corner. Rolando Medina went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Acratas Unidos's corner Rolando Medina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dimitris Stathakos quite easily take care of the ball. Dimitris Stathakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute Haroldo Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Stathakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Sokratis Symeonakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Medina to make the kick off. Dimitris Stathakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Leoncio in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Tsirikas. Gerasimos Patsionidis charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerasimos Patsionidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Patsionidis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Gerasimos Patsionidis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Haroldo Erruki hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Fanis Kapernekas came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the RO Army V55 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fanis Kapernekas couldn't finish the play. Sokratis Symeonakis in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evelio Gines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Haroldo Erruki took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitris Stathakos. Dimitris Stathakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dimitris Stathakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Erruki's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Trifon Tsirikas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Komaitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in RO Army V55's zone, Rolando Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Stathakos came out of the goal and Rolando Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
