Mané Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Acratas Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Astor Obano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué da Cunha in the 5th minute of play forced Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Evelio Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Léo Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when REAL RIO CRVG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acratas Unidos's Rolando Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Mané Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to REAL RIO CRVG getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nando Gaspar hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Haroldo Erruki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Régis Mota, 1-0. Régis Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Medina in the 22nd minute of the match. Acratas Unidos's Evelio Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Ortiz in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Rolando Medina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Medina to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rolando Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Régis Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Haroldo Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, REAL RIO CRVG's Rubens Marinho got a free kick in the 63rd minute.
