The Modlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krzysztof Cielencki should have stopped the shot. Rubens Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mané Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Krzysztof Cielencki made a huge save. Lech Zdrojewski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Mané Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL RIO CRVG's protests and gave Mané Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to REAL RIO CRVG getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mané Tavares hit a great ball. Modlau's Krzysztof Cielencki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Modlau from getting a goal against them. Radomir Dzerwucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Mota having to interfere. The supporters of REAL RIO CRVG booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Mazierski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krzysztof Klejnowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Régis Mota. REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Kelaino Mbappè came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Modlau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelaino Mbappè couldn't finish the play. REAL RIO CRVG's Régis Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Limanowski in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper Régis Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Pitta to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Mané Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Cielencki came out of the goal and Mané Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei Matorin's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. Radomir Dzerwucki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Régis Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Radomir Dzerwucki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 60th minute. Modlau's Lucjan Dziedelonis was substituted for Remigiusz Huk. Modlau's Kazimierz Dembkowski was substituted for Leszek Mazierski. Modlau made a substitution. Teobald Glogowski replaced Radomir Dzerwucki. Régis Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Glogowski in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, REAL RIO CRVG's Régis Mota got control of the ball when Kelaino Mbappè tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, REAL RIO CRVG's Ricardo Ortiz got a free kick in the 70th minute. Régis Mota was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Teobald Glogowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Modlau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
