When Blue Mountain State's Macit Zafer in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fomac FK's goalie prevented a goal. Yalçın Olgunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Kjellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kayhan Ermiye blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Rydelius having to make a save. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Fomac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Kjellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakut Sendur kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Carl Kjellqvist struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Yalçın Olgunay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fomac FK. Yalçın Olgunay came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Fomac FK's Carl Kjellqvist. But to his dismay, Carl Kjellqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Carl Kjellqvist struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Yalçın Olgunay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fomac FK. Yalçın Olgunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kjellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Carl Kjellqvist came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Fomac FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Kjellqvist couldn't finish the play. After having played for 37 minutes, Carl Kjellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fomac FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Kjellqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yalçın Olgunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Klint, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Yalçın Olgunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Kjellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ömer Rıza Yankı's late challenge caught a Fomac FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ömer Rıza Yankı helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Åke Alebeck was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Fomac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Kjellqvist to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes Fomac FK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Kjellqvist. Jonatan Rydelius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necati Eripek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Taze to maneuver through the defense. Carl Kjellqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Kjellqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fomac FK's goalkeeper Jonatan Rydelius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kim Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Yalçın Olgunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yalçın Olgunay came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Fomac FK's Rutger Godholm. But to his dismay, Rutger Godholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 87thth minute of the game Macit Zafer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fomac FK's Jonatan Rydelius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Necati Eripek hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay got control of the ball when Kim Klint tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rutger Godholm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yalçın Olgunay. That made the score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Fomac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Kjellqvist to maneuver through the defense.
