When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Poncio Barberá took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Andrejs Sinders to make any attempt to save it. Konstantīns Bojārs kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Poncio Barberá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrejs Sinders having to interfere. Virgilio Buendia struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Andrejs Sinders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salelles. When Rodney Manrique fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salelles's protests and gave Rodney Manrique a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Salelles's zone, Zigmunds Lasmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Portillo came out of the goal and Zigmunds Lasmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes SK Annenieki got a freekick which was hit by Aivars Pakamanis. 26 minutes in the game, Virgilio Buendia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andrejs Sinders having to interfere. Andrejs Sinders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Buendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmunds Lasmans in the 41st minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Leoncio Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poncio Barberá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andrejs Sinders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zigmunds Lasmans made a kick off. Zigmunds Lasmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Leoncio Portillo made a huge save. The supporters of Salelles booed when SK Annenieki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduards Vectirāns didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Salelles got a freekick which was hit by Mario Armada. In the 69th minute, Markuss Reliņš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salelles's Leoncio Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Salelles from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Konstantīns Bojārs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leoncio Portillo, 1-1. Leoncio Portillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zigmunds Lasmans in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Poncio Barberá came free, but Andrejs Sinders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Buendia in the 84th minute of play forced SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Andrejs Sinders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, SK Annenieki's Markuss Reliņš dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Markuss Reliņš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Poncio Barberá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salelles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
