Bermudo Canal hit a great ball. Leoncio Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necati Eripek in the 25th minute of play. Leoncio Portillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Macit Zafer's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Macit Zafer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leoncio Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salelles's Poncio Barberá got a free kick in the 34th minute. Kayhan Ermiye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leoncio Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aniceto Sarrate hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fikri Kutsalmis to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Kayhan Ermiye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leoncio Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Macit Zafer was the one to do the kick off. When Macit Zafer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Macit Zafer couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macit Zafer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leoncio Portillo saved Salelles from getting behind. In the 66th minute Macit Zafer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leoncio Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Mario Armada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Buendia charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Buendia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Salelles got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Buendia. After 73 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Bülent Ekin. After having played for 78 minutes, Kayhan Ermiye managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain State's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kayhan Ermiye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poncio Barberá in the 80th minute of play. Fikri Kutsalmis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Leoncio Portillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Macit Zafer went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Virgilio Buendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 91st minute of the match Fikri Kutsalmis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fikri Kutsalmis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A hard shot 95 in the game by Macit Zafer from a close distance when the talented Leoncio Portillo managed to make a qualified save. Salelles's players were relieved.
