In the 7th minute Timmy Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Di Gennaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alexander Saturno fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seggiano's protests and gave Alexander Saturno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Alexander Saturno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dave Berardini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Eraldo Giammaria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Hultman was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Antonio Di Gennaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Karlsson in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Alfredo Talamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seggiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Talamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Hultman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Seggiano booed when Bulltofta BB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Forss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Hultman made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Eraldo Giammaria sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Timmy Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bulltofta BB's Paul Billock got a free kick in the 71st minute. Seggiano's Eraldo Giammaria was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Kaj Hybbert fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Eraldo Giammaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hultman having to interfere.
