In the 3rd match minute, Romanian Gods™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Pricop to maneuver through the defense. Marius Agulescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. BVB 09's Sandu Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Marius Agulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Romanian Gods™'s Emil Văidianu got a free kick in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Chiliman came free, but Filip Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Romanian Gods™'s Vintilă Vârlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Mirciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Vintilă Vârlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Filip Mirciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Romanian Gods™ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Emil Văidianu hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Romanian Gods™'s goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Bâru came free, but Moise Negru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Romanian Gods™ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marin Lepuș hit a great ball. After the first half Romanian Gods™ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandu Bâru to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Chiliman. In the 55th minute Marin Lepuș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doru Zbârciog hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Moise Negru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Bâru in the 57th minute of play. Filip Mirciulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iulian Chiliman in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Romanian Gods™'s goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Bâru came free, but Moise Negru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marin Lepuș kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Sandu Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Negru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Romanian Gods™ got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Chiliman. Moise Negru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Bâru in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Romanian Gods™ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Iulian Chiliman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Bâru in the 90th minute of play forced Romanian Gods™'s goalkeeper Moise Negru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romanian Gods™'s Moise Negru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu got control of the ball when Doru Zbârciog tried to sneak it across the goal line.
