In the 38th minute, BVB 09's Marian Morovan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emerson Higgins. Emerson Higgins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emmanuel Yeager made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Bâru came free, but Emerson Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Sandu Bâru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emerson Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ari Laird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ari Laird got in the 65th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Filip Mirciulescu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Ari Laird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iacob Martinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Yeager came free, but Filip Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Marian Morovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Sandu Bâru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BVB 09 and the Creekers players grew even worse after the yellow card.
