Tyson Hedrick's late challenge caught a Rafaela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyson Hedrick helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyson Hedrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Creekers's Emerson Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Tomi in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Leonel Tomi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Emerson Higgins to make any attempt to save it. After 26 minutes, Leonel Tomi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafaela FC and the Creekers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Tomi to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Laird to maneuver through the defense. German Ourente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Countess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Higgins was a little too slow when Leonel Tomi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 39th minute, Feliciano Oliviero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emerson Higgins. The goal made the score 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ari Laird in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Ourente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Tomi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Creekers's Tyson Hedrick got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emerson Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Yeager came free, but German Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafaela FC were furious when Wilfredo Orlondo was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Emmanuel Yeager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyson Hedrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Tomi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Tyson Hedrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emerson Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Balesio in the 74th minute of play. Cristo Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feliciano Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Oliviero in the 84th minute of play. After 84 minutes, Genaro Countess mouthed his way into the referee's book. Thanks to some nice moves Ari Laird could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which German Ourente however easily saved by the left post. Rafaela FC's German Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Yeager in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rafaela FC had won after a very even match.
