If Tomás Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 4th minute, Alexander Giocondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Mazza came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beppe Mannella could save by the left post. In the 6th minute Damiano Cericola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Tomás Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Beppe Mannella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Toschi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match, Tomás Mazza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beppe Mannella was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 17 minutes into the game, Damiano Cericola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Perivaldo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damiano Cericola in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perivaldo Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Zé Paulo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Beppe Mannella was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Tomás Mazza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Mazza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 28 played minutes G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Giocondo. Tomás Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Beppe Mannella made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Damiano Cericola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aurelio Melchiorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's zone, Tomás Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Mannella came out of the goal and Tomás Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Cericola to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Beppe Mannella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Rossi was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nico Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Cruz during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola booed when Jardim América FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Beppe Mannella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Frank Di Paola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Perivaldo Torres, 2-2. Reynaldo de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jardim América FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Paulo Cruz hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Dino Di Natale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
